An effective school board plays an important watchdog role in keeping your local school on track, and setting policies that affect your child and your school. The school board sets the vision and goals for the school district, and holds the district accountable for results. One school board member cannot do the job alone. Effective school board members contribute their unique talents while collaborating and working as a team with other board members.

The long and the short of it is I took some time (a pandemic year) and thought what was the best way that I can further improve my community...
In the past I have participated and planned a community pageant Mr. & Miss Brentwood in the early 2000's. Then Brentwood's Got Talent afterword's. Both event's where great and raised money for scholarships and event's such as Brentwood's National Night Out & The New York State Spanish Spelling Bee sponsored by the Brentwood Alumni Student Association and the Brentwood U.F.S.D Spanish language department.
I can keep writing about me but I would rather get to the issues and the reasons I have decided to make a run for Brentwood School Board.
